The two main varieties of watermelon we grow at our farm in Valley, NE are green striped seedless watermelon and the FAMOUS Black Diamond watermelon. Black Diamond have a much darker green color on the outside whereas the green striped have a lighter green color with darker stripes on them.

Both of these varieties are seedless. Black Diamond are consistently 2 brix higher than regular green striped seedless watermelon. *Brix is the measurement of the sugar level of fruit.

If you want a crunchier watermelon with a little less sweetness, you will want to try out our green striped seedless watermelon. But if you want a softer and sweeter watermelon, our Black Diamond is the one for you!
