Soak up the sights, smells, and flavors of the great outdoors at Nelson Produce Farm. With two acres set aside specifically for our guests to pick their own fresh produce. From tomatoes, fresh lettuce, strawberries, and more, you’ll have plenty of options to satisfy your taste buds. Pick the freshest fruits and vegetables and take them home to enjoy!

Vegetable Produce: $14.99 per flat

Strawberries: $14.99 per Bucket (2 Quarts)

Strawberries: Our juicy and sweet day neutral strawberries are grown in June and continue sporadically throughout until September. These berries are perfect for desserts, jams, and salads. 

Tomatoes: Ripe and juicy beef steak garden variety tomatoes are available from mid June through October. Perfect for adding a fresh flavor to your favorite dishes. 

Green Beans: These crunchy and flavorful beans are harvested in June and August and can be used in salads, soups, and stews. 

Pickling Cucumbers: Pickling cucumbers are available in June and August and are perfect for making homemade pickles or a great snack to add to your veggie tray or charcuterie board.

 

Lettuce: Fresh and crunchy lettuce is available in June and again when the temps cool off in late September Early October. We grow several varieties from a green butter crunch to a tri-star medley. These are wonderful on a burger or great for salads, sandwiches, and wraps.

Peppers (Bell & Jalapeno): These colorful peppers are available from July through October and are perfect for adding a kick of flavor to any dish. 

Sunflowers: These bright and cheerful flowers are harvested in September and can be used for decorating or as a tasty snack.

Potatoes: Potatoes are available in October and can be used for a variety of dishes, from mashed potatoes to french fries. 

Pumpkins & Winter Squash: Pumpkins and winter squash are available in October and can be used for baking and decorating.
