  • Do you have restrooms?
    We have indoor restrooms located in our Market and The Corn Shop, and bathroom trailer.
  • What attractions are on the farm?
    The farm has a giant hay pile with several slides for children to climb and play on. The farm also has a hay grove with structures built up out of hay with a few slides for children to climb and play on. There is also a quonset with barn animals including goats, cows, pigs, an alpaca, horses, donkeys, etc. Right outside the quonset is the little farmers educational barns where children can learn all about what it means to be a farmer. We also have many other interactive activities around the farm!
  • Is there any thing to eat on the farm?
    The Front Porch Café and our Coffee Barn has food and beverages available for purchase. You may also bring in your own snacks.
  • Can we bring our pets to the farm?
    We do not allow outside pets at the farm due to our health certifications as we are a real working produce farm. We do have a dog day where you can bring your pet. Check out the calendar for that in the fall!

    Nelson Farm is located at 10505 N 234th St, Valley, NE 68064, 10 minutes northwest of Elkhorn, Nebraska

  • Do you take cash or card?
    Our farm and road stands take cash, all major credit cards and Apple Pay.
  • How should I dress?
    Dress like you’re not afraid to get dirty! This is a working produce farm and it gets muddy!
  • Does it cost to enter the farm?
    Please check out our pricing page for more information!
  • Do you have to pay for parking?
    Nope! Our parking is completely free.
  • Do you have to pay online? Or can you pay at the farm?
    Our farm has a full service admission barn that accepts cash, credit/debit, or your tickets purchased online.
  • What is in season?
    The U-Pick Garden has over 100 varieties of vegetables, herbs, and fresh flowers. Here is the availability of the main crops: Strawberries: June through September Tomatoes: mid June through October Green Beans: June through August Pickling Cucumbers: June through August Lettuce: June through July Peppers (Bell & Jalapeños ): July through October Sunflowers: September Potatoes: October Pumpkins & Winter Squash: October
